The 2018 Kia Stinger GT - March 8, 2018

If you've been following the development and release of the Kia Stinger, the verdict is finally in: the GT version is blowing away the competition.

First glimpsed as a concept car back in 2011 at the Frankfurt Motor Show, the Stinger GT is finally production ready and looks much like it did as a concept car 7 years ago.

The newcomer muscle car has a billed acceleration of 0 to 60 mpg in just 4.7 seconds with a max speed of 167 mph. This power is provided by a 3.3L DOHC 24-valve twin-turbo V-6 that pushes 365 horsepower at 6000 rpm with 376 lb-ft of torque. This is coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The Stinger GT comes in either RWD or AWD.

In any case, the Stinger GT's specifications are enough to surpass competitors in the same class, including Dodge, BMW, and Audi.

The base model is ticketed at $39,250. This includes front and rear Brembo brakes, heated front seats, a rear-view camera, dual-zone climate control, keyless push-button start, 19-inch alloy wheels, and much more.
